Your utility room can be one of the most important rooms in the home, but is often fairly neglected in terms of design.

A utility room is usually where you’ll find the washing machine, dryer, boiler, possibly a second fridge or freezer and maybe even a sink as well. None of these items are particularly small, and when arranged all in one room, the amount of potential storage space left can be quite minimal.

This problem is often compounded by the fact that the trend in current house design is often to leave a relatively small area for the utility room.
